Parents / Guardians Steps to Take Note off:

Levels: Bronze = 14yrs+ / Silver = 15yrs+ / Gold = 16yrs+

10mins introductory call to take place this is to set the scene for the programme ahead

Participants / Students Steps to note:

The student is to Whatsapp your Award Leader Vejay Reddy once registered on 0825704690 (+27)

The student is to create a Whatapp group with; Student, Award Leader (VJ 0825704690(+27), minimum 1 Parent

Record Logging / Log Sheets: This is done in one of two ways; Option1: Manual hardcopy logging, download the document at the bottom of this page. Option 2: via the Online Record Book (ORB). Register at this link for the ORB: https://www.onlinerecordbook.org/fo/

Notify your activity coaches / assessors that you are doing the Award Programme and what will be required of them; that they will need to reflect on your participation and progress at the end of the required period. Ensure your get regular signoff's from your assessors, since they can be promoted, emigrate or leave the school / business / country.

Complete regular weekly and monthly log sheets for the programme. Students MUST reach out to me atleast once a quarter with log sheet queries.

Photos: You must take photos of you engaging in your activities. This will be presented as part of your Portfolio of Evidence (POE) pack. See below for details.

CAUTION: It must be clearly understood that the TPA programme is to show CONSISTINACY of the participant. It is clear in the requirements there must be evidence WEEKLY for Skills and Physical Activity while Service MUST BE CONTINOUS EVERY SINGLE MONTH as per the MONTHLY hours required!!! If you miss the logging as required by the programme , the programme will then extend by another week or month for your completion date! If you still unsure about this please consult with me.

A standing monthly zoom call is held to assist participants with any queries they may have. 1st Tuesday of every Month at 6pm

To undertake the Adventurous Journey (AJ) you must complete a pre-requisite hike or nature walk prior to embarking on the planned AJ. You must have evidence of this hike / nature walk since it will form part of your Portfolio of Evidence (POE)

Attend the away 'activities' this being Adventurous Journey. Further Gold participants will have to complete the additional Residential Project as well. Click here for full details where and when these 'activities' are taking place.

Outcome: Once you complete your logs sheets as per the prescribed requirement for your respective level, you have to then compile your Portfolio of Evidence (POE) pack. Download the below document.
